The optical solution is based on a unique manufacturing technique to create an optical lens with several segments for different needs. The technique was developed by Multilens about eighteen years ago and is today unique in the world.

The optical solution
The optical solution angles the view and makes a working posture possible which more or less eliminates the problems that crop up with the current working situations for professionals within dentistry.

The prismatic refraction is achieved by adding up the inclination of spectacles and the prism placed. Its effect results in an intuitive image shift, where a larger viewing distance enlarges this image shift. In fact, the image does not move forward, but the viewing angle changes due to prismatic refraction.

The Optergo lens
The lens is manufactured in a way that makes it possible to combine and vary the powers and prisms in the different segments. The shape and placing of the segments can also be varied.
This system offers a new way of providing creative solutions to meet the specific requirements of patients.

Placement of the optical centres
One of the advantages of the Optergo lens, compared to a normal bifocal lens, is that the placement of the optical centre is always exact in every way. Consequently there are no unwanted differences in prism between right and left.

Hard coating and antireflection
Our hard coating process gives the lens a very good scratch protection and also improves the durability of the bound edges of the segment. This is standard on all Optergo lenses.

A combination of the hard coating process and the latest technology in multicoated anti-reflection gives a full protection – scratch resistance and anti-reflection.

If you have to use loupes – use the best possible solution for sight and posture.
With the knowledge from Optergo Solution we have now developed The Optergo Loupe Solution.

Optergo Loupe Solution gives the user a unique opportunity in an upright sitting posture due to our prism system that angels the sight. To be able to work in an uptight sitting posture is the most important issue to prevent or get rid of problem from the neck and shoulder region.
